Spring in Florida!

Matthew Chapter 6

28 And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:29 And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

Spring arrived a few weeks ago here in Florida.  Pollen covering the cars, and glazing the rain puddles, sneezing, all that fun stuff.  Now, the pollen season is abating, and the flowers and fruit trees are bursting out and painting the world with beauty and color.  I have a very tall Loquat tree in the yard, and it’s loaded with fruit.  I’ve seen a woodpecker, a cardinal, and a mocking bird eating the fruits, which makes me happy.  Our lantana is blooming faithfully again this year, attracting butterflies and bees.  My favorite flower, the Confederate/Star  Jasmine, is beginning to show off her pure white flowers, and fill the air with the the fragrant perfume that’s so wonderful to smell.
