In my group on http://www.ravelry.com, if you’re a member, you can enter the contest this month to try and win 2 free books, a knitting magazine, pens, bookmarks, and a copy of an Amish publication “Family Life”: http://pathway-publishers.com/family-life-magazine/
The name of my group is Amish Books and Charity Crafts, which you can find after you sign in on ravelry.com, and click the groups button, and enter that name. We have over 400 lovely members, and are always adding more.
We read a new Amish fiction book each month, and this month, April, we’ve voted to read An Amish Kitchen, by Amy Clipston, Beth Wiseman, and Kelly Long. Mrs. Clipston and Mrs. Wiseman generously donated books, pens, bookmarks, and Amy sent 4 awareness bracelets, in support of her husband’s past kidney transplant operation. More about that here: http://amyclipston.com/project/the-gift-of-love/
Here you can learn about THE COURTSHIP BASKET, which is Amy Clipston’s latest book, (Releasing 6/28/16):
http://amyclipston.com/project/the-courtship-basket/ Beth Wiseman is branching out by writing on other subjects besides Amish fiction. She donated A Tide Worth Turning, which you can read about here: http://bethwiseman.com/books/a-tide-worth-turning/, and a book I’m hoping to purchase soon: The Promise, which is “Inspired by actual events, this riveting story will take you on a wild journey and have you asking yourself: How far would I go for love?” http://bethwiseman.com/books/the-promise/
COME JOIN MY GROUP, and tell me about your favorite charity, post topics about it, and read a new Amish fiction book every month!
