In reading my KJ bible this morning, which is the only one I have in the house God gave me, I read in Acts 10: And when he looked on him, he was afraid, and said, What is it, Lord? And he said unto him, Thy prayers and thine alms are come up for a memorial before God.
There were cross-references pertaining to that verse, and I looked them up:
Prov. 15: The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the LORD: but the prayer of the upright is his delight.
Prov. 15: The LORD is far from the wicked: but he heareth the prayer of the righteous.
1 Peter 3: For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.
In many churches today, the priest, preacher, or pastor tells lies to his congregations, by telling them that
God is NOT against those who do evil, and God is close to the wicked. Not so. Fear God. Repent. Be saved from
the wrath to come. Ask Jesus to save you now.
